Where's the fastest Indian?

He was deemed as the fastest Indian and was celebrated everywhere as the Fastest Indian.
But, where is Narain Karthikeyan now?
His claim to fame was when he got selected as a part of the Jordan F1 team and became the first Indian to participate in Formula 1 Racing.
The media was suddenly all over him, all the papers were talking about him, he was the talk in major TV shows and he even got himself a few commercials.
But all of a sudden, he seems to have disappeared now.
He is nowhere to be seen or heard of...
Where is Narain?
So much for being the fastest Indian..
Long live the Indian people and the Indian Media!
Narain is the first to disappear, so whos gonna be next? =)

Zapak Whack Whack

It all started three years back with the launch of the MMORPG Ragnarok in india, what followed was a huge eruption of MMORPG's including A3 and Gunz.
And now, here we have the big Reliance group foraying into the gaming industry trying to make a quick buck.
They launched supposedly the largest Indian gaming website called Zapak.com(self proclaimed :P).
You wont believe this, but this little project of the Anil Dhirbai Ambani Group has involved funds of over 100 million dollars...
Only god knows what kind of money its gonna really make.
These Zapak guys plan to bring in Cyber Cafe zones called Zapak Zone's over the next few yearsto make more people play their games and also plan to introduce MMORPG's.
And obviously, they claim that the best is yet to come, yeah right :)
Now putting all the assumpltions aside, lets take the facts into consideration.
Zapak.com looks as if it has been designed as a diaper store, with its ahem, flashy yellow skin (Most of the times, i close the browser when i see a yellow background,)
On content, they have some 100 games, most of which are available for free in the internet.
And of course, they have a forum where there is more spam than proper posts.
And Yeah, they have something called Zapak TV! which has not yet even been officially released.
OK, now let me get to the point, I would say that Zapak.com is a criminal waste of webspace.
I would, definitely not develop a website like that by airing ads on MTV when it is in such a bad condition.
My first priority would be in making my website better and then doing publicity stunts.
What still amazes me is that, how did these guys spend so much money on this?
Consider this, I myself built a gaming portal and ended up making one at www.gamerlab.net ...
And fact fact, i just spent 10$ in making that site.
And you have zapak.com which was made for a few crore rupees.
Oh my Gawd! these reliance guys really need to get their act right.
Taking the gaming industry into account, its really large...
So what i did was i roped in a gaming enthusiast to comment upon zapak.com and this is what he said "Zapak.com has nothing good rite now, hope it gets better soon".
Reliance wants to be in the forefront of the highly lucrative gaming industry, Great!
But, they better do something good, or theyre just gonna keep loosing money...

World Domination!!

My obsession with world domination first satrted when I was in 1st grade. When people around me wanted to become engineers, doctors and even rockstars, when asked about what i wanted to become i said "I want to rule the World" . A small kid saying that would have been cute, but a 16 year old who wants to rule the world seems a little farfetched, but thats actually what I want to do.....
My inspiration behind world domination, arises in the achievements of many before. World domination is not simply being kind of the ruler of the world, but indirectly controlling the world. That is what Larry Page is doing now through google. Ive always wanted to create something which will make me all powerful and great. Well seems like that dream is far away, maybe I can make a start by getting 1000 clicks to my blog :D

F-F-F-Falling in LOVE

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Yep guys, i just fell in love. When i first saw her, it was love it soon developed into mad love. Ok, u wanna know who it is eh? I call her black beauty........ An AMD Athalon XP 2200+ system running on a Windows XP platform with a 1 GB RAM and 64 bit graphic card. I really cant imagine life without this little thing of mine, I would be forever doomed!!! I would rather prefer spending 50 years of tenure under the mullah of Duckistan then lose MY PRECIOUSSS. Ive become so crazy about this, that i spend 16 hours of my day on it, living and feeding off of it. I just searched the web for an equivalent term for a person who was obsessed with his computer, after not very convincing a term, i decided to call myself a compaholic? (does it sound a little bit like complan? ) I take furthermore pride about my PRECIOUSSS coz i assembled it outta scratch and really put my sweat into it. How many of you people are like me?
Post your comments here :)

PS: Hey, done misinterpret me for an Elton John kinda guy, im in no idea of marrying my computer....

Using tablets to go to sleep?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Wikipedia defines insomnia as "an inability to sleep and/or to remain asleep for a reasonable period. Insomniacs typically complain of being unable to close their eyes or "rest their mind" for more than a few minutes at a time. Both organic and nonorganic insomnia constitute a sleep disorder[1][2]. It is often caused by fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs or caffeine. An overactive mind or physical pain may also be causes. Finding the underlying cause of insomnia is usually necessary to cure it". Being an insomniac myself, i dont get to sleep much, but is insomnia a positive or a negative attribute? i really dunno how to answer that particular question. I generally tend to wake up at 6 in the morning, but sleep is the real problem, i dont feel like sleeping all through the night, the only thing i can do is try counting sheep and still remain awake when i have counted 5000. A better option which i use quite often nowadays is to use sleeping pills to go to sleep. Insomnia may not be all that ironic but, atleast it makes me kinda tired all through day. I really am not able to figure out how i became an insomniac coz there doesnt seem to be a heriditary background to this particular disorder, moreover this kind of insomnia problems have been prevailent for me only for the past few years. I have been more restless over the past few years and have been overstressed and kind of more angry at myself and the world around me. Some have even suggested that i may be psychologically weak to be an insomniac. The answers that have been offered to me about this particular disorder of mine havent been all that satisfactory, and im still searching for answers

Note: Sorry for writing about the boring subject, but i just felt like writing something about it :)

Are we in a Democracy or a Demo-cry-see?

India- search wikipedia for it and u get the result, sovereign socialist DEMOCRATIC republic. But are we really in a democracy, is this really working for us? a question which probably many of us would have pondered about. Before moving on all of us should really ask ourselves "What has democracy achieved in india?", it has rather slowed down everything. Democrats may proudly pronounce that our country is progressing and that were achieving massive GDP growth etc. but the truth remains that this is all due to FDI and the IT boom. If Microsoft sets shop in Inida today its because were providing cheap labour and we have a slight technical advantage, how long will it take for these IT bigwigs to move away? The beurocrats sadly are too engrossed in counting their votes and do nothing to improve the infrastructure or allied issues. A road project was laid down in Old Mahablipuram Road, Chennai approximately one year back, the gleaming board announced "The road of our dreams is under construction", but sadly that road still remains a distant dream. Politicians moving in and out, one politician erases all the good that his predecessor has done and states proudly that the predecessor did nothing, and it countinues as a cycle. The most notable feature of the Indian democracy would be the proceedings in the parliament, even a die-hard wwe fan would accept that its the best wrestling expreience he would have ever witnessed. Corruption, Red-tapism are all synonimous with Indian Democracy,.Politicians can legislate all they want, policies are hardly ever enforced and it just adds to the massive bureaucratic red tape that hinders any progress in the country. Is this what we want in our country? Indian democracy has a long way to go.....
PS: Attached a video of the proceedings in the legislative assembly, not sure of the place time etc., but aint it a gem? even Yokozuna cant beat that!!!
