The Irony called Tamil Cinema

Just a few days back i happened to see a tamil movie in a popular tv channel, not that i havent seen any before but just that this one was totally unique. A real thrill of an experience, one couldnt help but laugh at the kinds of stuff these people do. The story happened to be one about a guy who happens to work for the CBI, this guy has the task of vanquishing a whole army of terrorists, and he does this all by beating up a whole army single-handedly. The worst part was, when this hero guy types some shit in windows media player, he gets classified information about terror outfits. Tamil cinema is more of irony than practical stuff, all improbable and kiddish stuff which is totally unfit for the theateres. One sigh of relief is that even in tamil cinema there are some movies with a meaning but sadly these kinds of movies are rarely succesfull. When you type in the keywords "kollywood" in wikipedia you get a description of the terms with a picture of sivaji ganesan in "veerapandiya kattabomman", looking at the still makes me wonder, what has happened of tamil cinema? it was better back thing with substance and something worth watching, tamil cinema seems to progressing in the negative direction looking for spicy masala movies and in the end degrading itself in a major way. There can be commercial flicks, but a majority cannot be commercial flicks, as far as tamil cinema today goes "reality is a rarity"
